Introducing Pitvi

Write a few sentences about what you're shipping, get back a video your team can edit and export. Pitvi, in a paragraph.

What Pitvi is

Pitvi turns a written brief into a composed video. You describe what you're announcing in two or three sentences. The app generates scenes with typography, motion, audio, and timing. You open the result in a browser editor, tweak whatever feels off, and export an MP4.

The format works for anything brief-shaped: feature announcements, product demos, sales outreach, internal comms. The first version is built around release videos because that's the workflow that prompted me to build this in the first place.

Why this exists

Too many launches ship as a screenshot in a tweet because the video would have taken two weeks and the founder gave up halfway through. The brief is usually three sentences. The render is one click. The friction is everything in between: storyboarding, layout, copy, voice, motion, format, export.

Pitvi is an attempt at collapsing that middle into minutes.

What works today

  • A planner that turns your brief into scenes
  • An editor where each text, mockup, and background is a real, editable element
  • AI-generated scene scripts with synthesized voiceover
  • Stock asset selection per scene
  • MP4 export

What's missing

A lot. Proper brand kits are coming but not here yet. Team accounts don't exist. The voice library is small. Some compositions still feel templated when the brief is too short. These are the next priorities. Watch /releases for what ships when.
